سید مهدی رحمتی شهروند کُرد ۵۴ ساله اهل دیواندره و پدر دو فرزند ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی اسلامشهر استان تهران بر اثر اصابت گلوله های ساچمه ای شلیک شده از سوی نیروهای نظامیامنیتی جمهوری اسلامی زخمی شد و همسرش او را به بیمارستان سعیدیه امام رضا منتقل کرد. در بیمارستان از همسر وی خواسته شد محل را ترک کند و روز بعد مراجعه نماید. با این حال در مراجعات بعدی خانواده هیچ پاسخی درباره وضعیت جسمی یا محل نگهداری او ارائه نشد. خانواده پس از چهار روز بی خبری و پیگیری از جان باختن سید مهدی رحمتی مطلع شدند و پیکرش را تحویل گرفتند. مراسم خاکسپاری ۲۳ دی ماه در روستای «سه روقورخان» دیواندره برگزار شد.

Seyed Mehdi Rahmati, a 54-year-old Kurdish citizen from Divandarreh and father of two children, was injured on January 8, 2026, during public protests in Eslamshahr, Tehran Province, due to pellets fired by the military-security forces of the Islamic Republic. His wife took him to Saeediye Imam Reza Hospital. At the hospital, his wife was asked to leave the premises and return the next day. However, during subsequent visits, the family received no information about his physical condition or whereabouts. After four days of no news and persistent inquiries, the family was informed of Seyed Mehdi Rahmati's death and received his body. The burial ceremony was held on January 13 in the village of "Seh Roqur Khan" in Divandarreh.
