On August 10, 2024, in recent days, Mandana Sadeghi, a journalist and media activist residing in the city of Abadan in Khuzestan province, was summoned to the Revolutionary Court of Abadan.
According to the written summons issued, Mandana Sadeghi is scheduled to appear at the Revolutionary Court of Abadan on August 15, 2024, to present her defense against the charges listed in the issued indictment.
It is worth mentioning that Mandana Sadeghi was arrested on October 19, 2022, following a raid by agents of the Vali-Asr Intelligence of Khuzestan province on her home in Abadan. She was transferred to Ahvaz, the capital of Khuzestan province, for interrogation and to be informed of the charges. She was released in February 2023 after posting bail.
Previously, Mandana Sadeghi faced judicial charges due to her peaceful activities. In July 2018, she was summoned to the 4th Branch of the General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Abadan and was charged with "spreading lies in an electronic publication with the intent to disturb public opinion."
This journalist was also charged in another legal case on November 11, 2019, by the investigator of the 2nd Branch of the General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Abadan. She was temporarily released after posting a bail of 40 million Tomans but was tried on February 3, 2020, by the judge of the 1st Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Abadan for the charge of "propaganda activities against the regime."
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، در تاریخ ۱۹مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، طی روزهای اخیر، ماندانا صادقی، روزنامه نگار و فعال رسانه ای، ساکن شهرستان آبادان از توابع استان خوزستان، به شعبه دادگاه انقلاب آبادان احضار شد.
براساس ابلاغیه کتبی صادره مقرر شده تا ماندانا صادقی، در تاریخ ۲۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، برای ارائه دفاعیات خود در برابر اتهامات مندرج در کیفرخواست صادره، در دادگاه انقلاب آبادان حاضر شود.
لازم به اشاره است، ماندانا صادقی، در تاریخ ۲۷ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۱، در پی یورش ماموران اطلاعات سپاه ولیعصر استان خوزستان به منزل وی در شهرستان آبادان، بازداشت و جهت بازجوئی و تفهیم اتهام به شهر اهواز مرکز استان خوزستان منتقل و در بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۱، با تودیع قرار تامین آزاد شد.
ماندا صادقی، پیش از این در پی فعالیتهای مسالمت آکیز خود با پرونده سازی قضایی مواجه و در تیر ماه ۱۳۹۷، به شعبه ۴ بازپرسی دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب آبادان، احضار و از بابت اتهام «نشر اکاذیب در نشریه الکترونیکی به قصد تشویش اذهان عمومی» تفهیم اتهام شده بود.
این روزنامه نگار، در تاریخ ۲۰ آبان ماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط بازپرس شعبه ۲ بازپرسی دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان آبادان، در دیگر پرونده قضایی خود تفهیم اتهام و با تودیع قرار کفالتی به مبلغ ۴۰ میلیون تومان بطور موقت آزاد شد اما در تاریخ ۱۴ بهمن ماه ۱۳۹۸، از بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» توسط قاضی شعبه ۱ دادگاه انقلاب آبادان، محاکمه شده بود.
