Saeed Zarei Kordshouli was arrested on 12 January 2026 in Shiraz at his sister's residence. His only visitation occurred on 31 January 2026 at Adel-Abad Prison in Shiraz, and since then, he has been denied visitation rights.
According to statements from his family, Saeed has been subjected to severe torture, resulting in serious facial injuries, as well as fractures to his legs and ribs. It is reported that he was coerced into making a forced confession against himself under pressure and torture until the day of the visitation. The charge announced by that time was the "murder of five Revolutionary Guard officers during public protests in the city of Marvdasht."
By the time of the visitation, no court hearing had been held for him. Additionally, the family was informed that a sum of one billion and five hundred million tomans was requested for a lawyer, despite a court-appointed lawyer being introduced by the judiciary. Furthermore, the family was told that they must pay nine billion tomans for the "delivery of Saeed, whether alive or deceased."

تنها ملاقات وی در تاریخ ۱۱ بهمن ۱۴۰۴ در زندان عادل آباد شیراز انجام شده و از آن زمان تاکنون از حق ملاقات محروم است.
بر اساس اظهارات خانواده، سعید تحت شکنجه های بسیار شدید قرار گرفته و دچار آسیب جدی به صورت، شکستگی پاها و دنده ها شده است. گفته می شود او تا روز ملاقات تحت فشار و شکنجه مجبور به اعتراف اجباری علیه خود شده است. اتهام اعلام شده تا زمان ملاقات، «قتل پنج مأمور سپاه در جریان اعتراضات مردمی شهر مرودشت» عنوان شده است.
تا زمان ملاقات، هیچ دادگاهی برای وی برگزار نشده بود. همچنین به خانواده اعلام شده برای وکیل (در حالی که وکیل تسخیری از سوی دادگستری معرفی شده) مبلغ یک میلیارد و پانصد میلیون تومان درخواست شده است. علاوه بر این، به خانواده گفته شده برای «تحویل زنده یا کشته شده سعید» باید مبلغ ۹ میلیارد تومان پرداخت شود.
