On 8 January 2026, one of the individuals who lost their lives on Ashouri Street in Bushehr was identified as 38-year-old Esmail Kharousha. He was married and the father of a three-year-old child.
It has been reported that Esmail was originally from Borazjan and had moved to Bushehr due to his work in repairing ATM machines. Recently, he had been employed at the Asaluyeh petrochemical complex.
Additionally, it was mentioned that Esmail Kharousha had changed his name to Iman Pourfarjam three months prior, although he was still known by his former name in his hometown.
On the evening of 8 January, Esmail joined other protesters on Ashouri Street. Reports indicate that he was injured on this street, with a bullet striking his thigh. Due to the delay in being transported to the hospital, he succumbed to severe bleeding.
Esmail Kharousha's body was returned to his family following their efforts. His burial ceremony was conducted without attendees at 6 a.m. in the cemetery of his hometown, Borazjan.

گزارش شده است که اسماعیل اهل برازجان بود و به دلیل شغلش در تعمیرات دستگاه های عابربانک به بوشهر مهاجرت کرده بود. او اخیراً در پتروشیمی عسلویه مشغول به کار شده بود.
همچنین گفته شده است که اسماعیل خروشا سه ماه قبل نام و نام خانوادگی خود را تغییر داده بود و به نام ایمان پورفرجام شناخته می شد، اما در زادگاهش همچنان با نام قدیمی خود شناخته می شد.
در شامگاه 18 دی، اسماعیل همراه با دیگر معترضان به خیابان عاشوری رفته بود. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که او در این خیابان مجروح شد و تیر به کشاله رانش اصابت کرد. به دلیل عدم انتقال به موقع به بیمارستان، او از شدت خونریزی جان باخت.
پیکر اسماعیل خروشا پس از پیگیری های خانواده به آن ها تحویل داده شد. مراسم خاکسپاری او بدون حضور افراد و در ساعت 6 صبح در آرامگاه زادگاهش برازجان برگزار شد.
