On 25 March 2024, the detention of an individual was reported. The reason for the detention was stated to be participation in the Nowruz celebrations in the village of Qazlian, Boukan. This individual, along with others, was detained or pressured due to singing songs advocating for freedom and activities related to the Nowruz festival.
Security forces reportedly carried out the detention without presenting a judicial order and transferred the individual to an unknown location. The family of the detained individual visited the Boukan Intelligence Office to inquire about their status but did not receive accurate information. It is reported that the individual has been moved to the Boukan Intelligence detention center for interrogation and case processing.

نیروهای امنیتی بدون ارائه حکم قضایی اقدام به بازداشت او کرده و وی را به مکان نامعلومی منتقل کرده اند. خانواده این فرد برای پیگیری وضعیت به اداره اطلاعات بوکان مراجعه کرده اند، اما اطلاعات دقیقی دریافت نکرده اند. گفته می شود که وی برای بازجویی و تشکیل پرونده به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات بوکان منتقل شده است.
