Naser Baranzehi, born in 1991, son of Yaghoub, a resident of Shirabad in Sistan and Baluchestan Province and a political prisoner held in Zahedan Central Prison, was released after completing his prison sentence on Friday, February 23, 2024.
It is noteworthy that Naser Baranzehi was arrested by security forces in 2019 following a verbal altercation with a member of the Basij in the town of Shirabad. After being transferred to a detention center and undergoing interrogation and charges, he was moved to Zahedan Central Prison. He was sentenced to four years of imprisonment after the interrogation and charges process.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از حال وش، امروز جمعه ۴ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۲، ناصر بارانزهی، متولد: ۱۳۷۰، فرزند: یعقوب، اهل و ساکن شیرآباد از توابع استان سیستان و بلوچستان و زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان مرکزی شهر زاهدان، پس از اتمام دوران حبس خود آزاد شد.
لازم به اشاره است، ناصر بارانزهی، در سال ۱۳۹۸، پس از درگیری لفظی با یکی از اعضای بسیج در شهرستان شیرآباد، توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام به زندان مرکزی زاهدان، منتقل شده بود. وی پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام به تحمل ۴ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
