Seyed Ali Sina Mostafavi, born in 1987 (1366) in Bam, Kerman Province, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on April 25, 2026 (5 Ordibehesht 1405) after armed officers entered his home. It has been reported that he was beaten during his arrest.
He was sentenced to death by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Kerman, presided over by Judge Hadi Aghaei. His death sentence was upheld on September 28, 2026 (6 Mehr 1405) by Branch 41 of the Supreme Court of Iran, presided over by Judge Zabihi. The charges brought against him include “moharebeh” (enmity against God), “acting against national security,” and “assembly and collusion.”
He is a professional mountaineer and Iranian Himalayan climber. He has made numerous ascents of various peaks in Iran and has also successfully climbed Island Peak and Kala Patthar in Nepal. His mountaineering record also includes an attempt to climb Ama Dablam, one of the best-known and technically challenging peaks in the Himalayas.
سید علی سینا مصطفوی، متولد ۱۳۶۶ در بم ( کرمان) در ساعت ۳:۳۰ بامداد ۱۴۰۵/۲/۵ پس از ورود مأموران مسلح به منزل شخصی اش بازداشت شد. گزارش شده است که او هنگام بازداشت مورد ضرب و شتم قرار گرفت.
او از سوی شعبه ۱ دادگاه انقلاب کرمان به ریاست قاضی هادی آقایی به اعدام محکوم شده است. حکم اعدام وی در تاریخ ۱۴۰۵/۷/۶ توسط شعبه ۴۱ دیوان عالی کشور به ریاست قاضی ذبحی تأیید شد. اتهام های مطرح شده علیه او شامل «محاربه»، «اقدام علیه امنیت کشور» و «تجمع و تبانی» است.
وی کوهنورد حرفه ای و هیمالیانورد ایرانی است. او صعودهای متعددی به قله های مختلف ایران داشته و همچنین موفق به صعود قله های آیلند پیک و کالاپاتار در نپال شده است. او همچنین تلاش برای صعود به قله آما دابلام، یکی از شناخته شده ترین و فنی ترین قله های هیمالیا، را در کارنامه ورزشی خود دارد.
