روز پنج شنبه ۲٣ شهریورماه ١۴٠٢، امید نیازی، ساکن شهرستان دهگلان از توابع استان کردستان، از سوی نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.

لازم به اشاره است، محسن نیازی، برادر امید نیازی، در تاریخ ۲٩ آبان ماه ١۴٠١، بر اثر اصابت گلوله نیروهای امنیتی به ناحیه کمر به شدت زخمی شد و در پی وخامت حال در بیمارستان کوثر سنندج جان باخت.
