Mohammad Reza Kazemian was detained by security forces on 8 January 2026, during the first night of protests in the city of Sirjan.
Reports indicate that his family received only a brief call from him, in which he stated that he was in prison. Following this call, there has been no clear response from officials regarding his location, physical condition, legal status, or the charges against him.
Kazemian was the only son in his family and assisted his father with daily living and work. His detention has placed significant psychological and economic pressure on his family.

اطلاعات رسیده حاکی از آن است که خانواده او تنها یک تماس کوتاه از وی دریافت کرده اند که در آن اعلام کرده در زندان است. پس از این تماس، هیچ گونه پاسخ روشنی از سوی مقامات درباره محل نگهداری، وضعیت جسمی و حقوقی یا اتهامات مطرح شده علیه او ارائه نشده است.
محمدرضا کاظمیان تک پسر خانواده بوده و به پدر خود در امر معاش و کارهای روزمره کمک می کرده است. بازداشت او فشار روانی و اقتصادی سنگینی بر خانواده اش وارد کرده است.
