Hormoz Gorji-Bayani was a teacher, a Kurdish communist political activist, and one of 11 revolutionary teachers executed on August 19, 1979, at Dizel-Abad Prison in Kermanshah, on charges of supporting the Organisation of Iranian People's Fadaei Guerrillas. He helped organise the first strike by Iranian teachers in Kermanshah during the 1979 Revolution. He was arrested on August 18, 1979 (Mordad 27, 1358), at his private residence in Kermanshah's Sad-Dastgah district. At 1:30 AM, he and 10 others were executed by firing squad at Dizel-Abad Prison without a trial. Hormoz Gorji Bayani, a political activist and teacher, was executed on 19 August 1979 in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah. He was one of 11 teachers executed on charges of supporting the Organization of Iranian People's Fedai Guerrillas. Bayani played a significant role in organising the first teachers' strike in Kermanshah during the 1979 revolution.

Bayani was arrested on 18 August 1979 at his residence in the Sad Dastgah area of Kermanshah. The execution was carried out by a firing squad at 1:30 am in Dizelabad Prison. It has been reported that these individuals were executed without trial.

هرمز گرجی بیانی، فعال سیاسی و معلم، در ۲۸ مرداد ۱۳۵۸ در زندان دیزل آباد کرمانشاه اعدام شد. او یکی از ۱۱ معلمی بود که به اتهام حمایت از سازمان چریک های فدایی خلق ایران اعدام شدند. بیانی نقش مهمی در سازماندهی اولین اعتصاب معلمان ایرانی در کرمانشاه در جریان انقلاب ۱۳۵۷ داشت.

بیانی در ۲۷ مرداد ۱۳۵۸ در منزل شخصی خود در منطقه صد دستگاه کرمانشاه دستگیر شد. اعدام در ساعت ۱:۳۰ بامداد توسط جوخه آتش در زندان دیزل آباد انجام شد و گزارش شده است که این افراد بدون محاکمه اعدام شدند.
