به گزارش ها، در 23 مرداد 1402، لقمان سخنور و هوشیار قادری از اهالی شین آباد در شهرستان پیرانشهر توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شدند. گفته شده است که لقمان سخنور در حالی که با خودروی خود در بازار پیرانشهر در حال تردد بود، توسط ماموران امنیتی بازداشت شد. همچنین گزارش شده است که ماموران امنیتی با ورود به منزل پدری هوشیار قادری و پس از تفتیش و توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی، او را بازداشت کردند. اطلاعاتی درباره نام ارگان امنیتی بازداشت کننده، دلیل بازداشت و اتهامات مطرح شده علیه این افراد در دسترس نیست.
