On June 13, 2023, Branch 1 of Tehran District 33 Prosecutor's Office summoned Nahid Shaghaghi to face imprisonment.
According to Human Rights in Iran, on Sunday 11 June 2023, Nahid Shaghaghi, a women's rights activist and a member of Iran's Women's Call, living in Tehran, received a written notice from Branch 1 of the 33rd District Prosecutor's Office of Tehran located in Evin Prison. She was summoned to serve his prison sentence. This women's rights activist is required to endure 2 years and 3 months of imprisonment.

Explaining this news, Nahid Shaghaghi also announced: "Despite receiving a sentence of nonpenalty from the forensic medicine, on 12/06/2023, a bond confiscation notice was sent to my guarantors and my guarantor's bank account was immediately blocked.
