Arashia Gheysar Beigi was reportedly arrested on 5 May 2026 during a raid by security forces at his home. The arrest was conducted without a judicial warrant and involved significant violence, resulting in fractures to his jaw, nose, and teeth. It has been reported that security forces also attempted to detain his brother, but were unsuccessful.
Following the arrest, Arashia Gheysar Beigi was transferred to a security detention centre. He has been denied access to legal representation and family visits. Interrogation is reportedly ongoing in solitary confinement, accompanied by severe physical torture and without medical attention for injuries sustained during the arrest.
On 6 May 2026, the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of Chardavol County in Ilam Province issued a temporary detention order for Arashia Gheysar Beigi. The order, signed by Karim Omidi, a court judge and acting investigator, cites "confessions and admissions" as the basis for charges of "enmity against God and corruption on earth." His temporary detention has been extended for an additional two months.

به گفته این منبع، نیروهای امنیتی هم زمان در تلاش برای بازداشت برادر او نیز بوده اند، اما موفق به بازداشت وی نشده اند.
پس از این بازداشت خشونت آمیز، نیروهای امنیتی آرشیا قیصربیگی را به یکی از بازداشتگاه های امنیتی منتقل کرده اند. او همچنان از حق هرگونه دسترسی به وکیل و ملاقات با خانواده محروم است و بازجویی از وی در سلول انفرادی، همراه با شکنجه شدید جسمی و بدون رسیدگی پزشکی نسبت به جراحات ناشی از بازداشت، ادامه دارد.
یک روز پس از بازداشت آرشیا قیصربیگی، در تاریخ ۱۶ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵، دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب شهرستان چرداول در استان ایلام با امضای «کریم امیدی» دادرس دادگاه و جانشین بازپرس، قرار بازداشت موقت او را صادر کرده است. بر اساس این قرار، وی با استناد به «اعترافات و اقرار» به اتهامات «محاربه و افساد فی الارض» متهم شده و بازداشت موقت او برای دو ماه دیگر تمدید شده است.
