بر اساس گزارش های رسیده، در تاریخ ۱۸ اسفند ۱۴۰۴، در پی هجوم نیروهای حکومتی به منطقه قلعه چنان اهواز، دست کم دو شهروند با شلیک مستقیم گلوله کشته شدند. همچنین، دست کم ۹ شهروند بازداشت و به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات منتقل شدند. گزارش شده است که اجساد این دو شهروند به خانواده هایشان تحویل داده نشده است.

Six months after the violent and armed raid by security forces on the Qaleh Chanan area of Ahvaz, the fate of Mahmoud Hosseinian (Naseri) remains unknown. His family says that neither Mahmoud's arrest has been officially confirmed nor has his body been handed over to them.
According to reports, on 8 March 2026, at least two citizens were killed by direct gunfire following a government forces' raid in the Qaleh Chanan area of Ahvaz. Additionally, at least nine citizens were detained and transferred to the Intelligence Department's detention centre. It has been reported that the bodies of the two citizens have not been handed over to their families.
