According to Human Rights in Iran, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi, a constitutional monarchist political activist imprisoned in the women's ward of Evin Prison, remains in a state of limbo despite the completion of interrogations and charges being explained. Additionally, she is deprived of medical treatment. Previously, this constitutional monarchist political activist was sentenced to imprisonment due to her peaceful activities and was conditionally released after serving part of her sentence.
According to an informed individual in an interview with the Human Rights reporter in Iran: "Recently, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi's brother passed away, and the fortieth-day ceremony will be held on September 18. However, due to the prosecutor's opposition to converting her temporary detention to bail, she is deprived of attending her brother's fortieth-day ceremony. Additionally, her brother's two children, aged between 7 and 10, who were cared for by Ms. Nowrouz-Moradi before her arrest, have been left without guardianship due to the current situation and their father's death."
It is noteworthy that on April 24, 2023, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi was arrested following a raid by security agents on her home. After being transferred to Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison and undergoing interrogation, she was then moved to three-person cells in that security ward (suite). Concerns about her health were raised due to her history of several illnesses. However, alongside these physical issues, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi was charged on June 12, 2023, after being sent to Branch 3 of the Prosecutor's Office of District 33 Tehran located in Evin Prison, for "assembly and collusion with the intent to disrupt national security through managing a Telegram channel" and "propaganda against the regime."
Previously, in September 2018, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi was arrested in Tehran by Ministry of Intelligence agents on charges of "propaganda against the regime" and "supporting one of the opposition groups through activities in cyberspace." After being transferred to Ward 209 of that security organization located in Evin Prison and undergoing interrogation and charges being explained, she was moved to the women's ward of Evin Prison.
With the beginning of the judicial proceedings, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi's case was referred to Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, presided by Iman Afshari. This constitutional monarchist activist was tried and sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment for "propaganda against the regime" and "supporting one of the opposition groups through activities in cyberspace," which was her support for the campaign to bring back Prince Reza Pahlavi to Iran. With the application of Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, she was required to serve 5 years of imprisonment, and due to the lack of appeal and submission to the verdict, her sentence was reduced from 5 years to 3 years and 9 months of imprisonment. On April 24, 2019, after being summoned to the Execution of Sentences Unit of the Prosecutor's Office of District 33 Tehran, she was arrested to serve her prison term and transferred to Evin Prison.
This constitutional monarchist activist was deprived of medical treatment and specialized medical care during her imprisonment due to illness. After some time, she was released on bail to undergo medical treatment. Following the release of a video clip in support of Prince Reza Pahlavi, she was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office of Evin Prison, and while her medical treatment was incomplete, she was arrested and subjected to interrogation and investigation on May 20, 2020, with a new case for "propaganda against the regime."
On October 21, 2020, Samaneh Nowrouz-Moradi, without prior notice and based on paragraph B of Article 7 of the Executive Regulations on the Separation of Crimes and Classification of Prisoners approved on November 30, 2006, was transferred from Evin Prison to Rudsar County Prison and then to Lakan Prison in Rasht. On April 5, 2021, after the suspension of the continuation of her imprisonment, she was released from Lakan Prison in Rasht, the capital of Gilan Province.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز چهارشنبه ۲۲ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، سمانه نوروزمرادی، فعال سیاسی مشروطه خواه، محبوس در بند زنان زندان اوین، علیرغم اتمام بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام در وضعیت بلاتکلیف بسر میبرد و علاوه بر این از حق درمان نیز محروم است. این فعال سیاسی مشروطه خواه پیشتر هم به سبب فعالیتهای مسالمت آمیز خود به تحمل حبس محکوم و پس از تحمل بخشی از محکومیت خود بطور مشروط آزاد شده بود.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”چندی پیش، برادر سمانه نوروزمرادی، فوت کرد و مراسم چهلم و یدر تاریخ ۲۷ شهریور ماه برگزار خواهد اما در پی مخالفت دادستان برای تبدیل قرار بازداشت موقت وی به وثیقه او حتی از حق حضور در مراسم چهلم برادر خود نیز محروم است. همچنین ۲ فرزند برادر خانم نوروزمرادی که سنین بین ۷ تا ۱۰ سال هستند و در پی فقدان مادر تا پیش از بازداشت توسط خانم نوروزمرادی مواظبت می شدند و با توجه به این شرایط و فوت پدر آنها این کودکان بی سرپرست ماندند.”
لازم به اشاره است، سمانه نورزومرادی، در تاریخ ۴ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، در پی یورش ماموران امنیتی به منزل وی، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات واقع در زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی سپس به بندهای ۳ نفره در آن بند امنیتی (سوئیت) منتقل شد اما با توجه به سابقه چندین بیماری که از آنها در رنج است نگرانی هایی در خصوص وضعیت سلامت وی مطرح شد اما در کنار همه این مشکلت جسمانی، سمانه نوروزمرادی، در تاریخ ۲۲ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، پس از اعزام به شعبه ۳ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران واقع در زندان اوین، از بابت اتهامات (اجتماع و تبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور از طریق مدیریت یک کانال تلگرام) و (فعالیت تبلیغ علیه نظام) تفهیم اتهام شد.
سمانه نوروزمرادی، پیش از این هم در شهریور ماه سال ۱۳۹۷، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات به اتهام (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) و (هواداری یکی از گروه های مخالف نظام از طریق فعالیت در فضای مجازی) در تهران بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بند ۲۰۹ آن ارگان امنیتی واقع در زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی و تفهیم اتهام به بند زنان زندان اوین منتقل شد.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، پرونده سمانه نوروزمرادی، به شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست ایمان افشاری ارجاع و این فعال مذنی مشروطه خواه از بابت اتهام (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) و (هواداری یکی از گروه های مخالف نظام از طریق فعالیت در فضای مجازی) که پشتیبانی وی از کمپین بازگشت شاهزاده رضا پهلوی به ایران بود محاکمه و به تحمل ۸ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد و با اعمال ماده ۱۳۴ مجازات اسلامی، تحمل ۵ سال حبس تعزیری بر علیه وی لازم به اجرا شد و با توجه به عدم اعتراض و اعلام تسلیم رای، مدت محکومیت حبس وی از ۵ سال به ۳ سال و ۹ ماه حبس تعزیری کاهش پیدا کرد و در تاریخ ۴ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۳۹۸، پس از احضار به واحد اجرای احکام دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، برای سپری کردن دوران حبس خود بازداشت و به زندان اوین منتقل شد.
این فعال مدنی مشروطه خواه، با توجه به بیماری در دوران حبس خود از حق درمان و مراقبتهای پزشکی تخصصی نیز محروم بود و پس از مدتی با تودیع وثیقه برای انجام مراحل درمانی بیماری خود به مرخصی اعزام شد و در پی انتشار یک ویدئو کلیپ در حمایت از شاهزاده رضا پهلوی، سپس به شعبه دادسرای زندان اوین احضار و در حالی که مراحل درمانی وی تکمیل نشده بود بازداشت و در تاریخ۳۱ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۳۹۹، با پرونده ای جدید به اتهام (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام ) تحت بازجویی و بازپرسی قرار گرفت.
سمانه نوروزمرادی، در تاریخ ۳۰ مهر ماه ۱۳۹۹، بدون اعلام قبلی و با استناد به بند ب از ماده ۷ آيين نامه اصل تفکیک جرائم و طبقه بندى زندانيان مصوب ۹ آذر ماه ۱۳۸۵، از زندان اوین به زندان شهرستان رودسر و سپس به زندان لاکان شهر رشت، منتقل و در تاریخ ۱۶ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۰، پس از تعلیق تحمل ادامه حبس خود از زندان لاکان شهر رشت مرکز استان گیلان آزاد شده بود.
