Following the announcement of the verdict against Azadeh Samadi, an Iranian film actress who was sentenced to a six-month ban from using social media and required to see a psychologist due to her antisocial personality, filmmakers, directors, producers, and actors released statements of protest.
Two cinema associations, directors and producers, stated in their declaration that they object to the verdict issued for the esteemed actress Azadeh Samadi. They consider the final clause of this unusual ruling, which mandates compulsory attendance in psychology classes for treating antisocial personality disorder, an insult to the intelligence of all cinema professionals and contrary to the principles of the Republic, which prides itself on religious democracy.

در پی انتشار حکم آزاده صمدی بازیگر سینمای ایران که در آن او به ممنوعیت استفاده از فضای مجازی به مدت شش ماه و مراجعه به روانشناس به علت شخصیت ضد اجتماع محکوم شده بود سینماگران، کارگردانان، تهیه کنندگان و بازیگران سینما بیانیه های اعتراضی منتشر کردند.
دو صنف سینمایی کارگردانان و تهیه کنندگان در بیانیه خود نوشتند: «به حکم صادر شده برای بازیگر محترم سینما خانم آزاده صمدی اعتراض داریم و بند آخر این حکم عجیب که حضور اجباری در کلاس های روانشناسی برای درمان بیماری شخصیت ضد اجتماعی را لازم الاجرا دانسته، توهین به شعور تمام اهالی سینما می دانیم و مغایر با اصل جمهوری است که به مرام مردم سالاری دینی افتخار می کند.»

در پایان این بیانیه مشترک آمده است: «ما تمام قد در کنار تمام بازیگران زن سینمای ایران و سینماگرانی که ناجوانمردانه با حکم های مشابه تحقیر می شوند ایستاده ایم و از آنها حمایت می کنیم و به تمام حکم هائی که تاکنون صادر شده معترضیم.»
انجمن صنفی بازیگران سینما نیز در اعتراض به حکم عجیب آزاده صمدی بیانیه ای منتشر کرد.
این بیانیه حکم صادره برای آزاده صمدی را «بسیار عجیب، حیرت آور و بخش هایی از آن را تحقیرآمیز خوانده و می گوید: «سینما و تئاتر از شاخصه های فرهنگی هر کشور بوده و تخریب اهالی هنر نتیجه ای جز برهم خوردن امنیت روانی جامعه ندارد. این انجمن بنابر وظیفه صنفی حمایت از فعالیت های شغلی و پیگیری در احقاق حقوق حرفه ای اعضای خود، اعتراض بسیار شدید نسبت به صدور این حکم را اعلام می نماید.»
