The prison sentence of Mr Shafigh Eslami, a Baha’i citizen residing in Yazd, was confirmed by the Court of Appeal of this province. This Baha’i citizen had been sentenced to a 19 years and 7 months in prison in the first instance by the Revolutionary and Criminal Courts of Yazd.
