A family member of Arezou Badri, a woman opposed to mandatory hijab who was injured by police gunfire in Nour County last week, stated on Sunday, July 28, 2024, to Independent Persian that she has lost the ability to walk due to the shooting.
The informed source refuted claims made by the public relations of the Mazandaran provincial police, stating that the only reason officers shot at the vehicle carrying Arezou Badri, who is the mother of two young children, was the attempt to seize the vehicle due to "Arezou and her friend's lack of hijab." The source explained that around 10 p.m. on Monday, July 22, Arezou and her friend were returning from Nour to Babolsar when a police officer from Nour, using the loudspeaker of a Samand car, warned them to observe the hijab. او توضیح داد: «حوالی ساعت ۱۰ شب دوشنبه اول مرداد، آرزو و دوستش از نور به بابلسر برمی گشتند که مامور پلیس شهر نور از پشت بلندگوی سمند به این دو نفر تذکر داد حجابشان را رعایت کنند اما راننده و آرزو با بی توجهی به مسیرشان ادامه دادند که ناگهان تعقیب و گریز شکل گرفت و یک مامور، بدون اعلام هشدارهای اولیه، از درون خودرو سمند پلیس به طرز عجیبی به سمت پراید شلیک کرد که یکی از همین تیرها از سمت شاگرد در ماشین را سوراخ کرد و در کمر آرزو نشست.»
این عضو خانواده آرزو گفت که ماموران در ادامه با حمله فیزیکی به این دو زن جوان قصد داشتند آنان را بازداشت کنند که با مشاهده وخامت وضعیت جسمی آرزو بدری و خون ریزی شدید، دستپاچه شدند و اورژانس خبر کردند. آرزو ابتدا به بیمارستان نور و سپس به بیمارستان خمینی ساری منتقل شد و به گفته پزشکان متخصص، به دلیل برخورد تیر با کانال نخاعی کمر، احتمال از دست رفتن کامل توانایی او برای راه رفتن «بسیار زیاد» ارزیابی می شود.
این فرد مطلع گفت که از زمان انتشار خبر شلیک ماموران به آرزو بدری به دلیل مخالفت با حجاب اجباری، تعداد زیادی نیروی امنیتی از تهران به بیمارستان خمینی ساری منتقل شدند تا مانع از هرگونه اطلاع رسانی درباره آخرین وضعیت این زن معترض یا عکس برداری و مصاحبه با او شوند.
ماموران حتی تلفن همراه آرزو بدری و دوست او را ضبط و حساب اینستاگرام او را غیرفعال کرده اند تا هیچ تصویری از او در رسانه ها منتشر نشود.
دو روز بعد از مجروح شدن این زن، احمد امینی، فرمانده انتظامی شهرستان نور، مدعی شد: «ماموران گشت انتظامی حوالی ساعت ۲۳ اول مرداد ۱۴۰۳، حین گشت زنی در سطح حوزه استحفاظی به یک خودرو سواری با شیشه های دودی مظنون شدند. ماموران برای متوقف کردن خودرو دستور ایست صادر کردند که راننده بدون توجه به دستور پلیس، اقدام به فرار از صحنه کرد و عوامل انتظامی هم با استفاده از قانون به کارگیری سلاح، خودرو را متوقف کردند.»
