Reza Fouladi, a pharmaceutical visitor, was killed in Zirab, a district of Savadkuh, on 19 January 2026. It has been reported that he was shot directly in the head while sitting at the corner of a street with his hands on his head. His family has stated that authorities asked them to acknowledge that he was a Basij member and was killed by terrorists. However, his body was buried in Zirab without being recognised as a Basij member.
