According to news sources, on 11 July 2025, Ebrahim Janeh Fard, a resident of Bukan in West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by security forces from the Intelligence Department.
It has been reported that more than a week after Ebrahim Janeh Fard's arrest, there is no information available regarding the legal charges, judicial process, or his current status.
In 2022, Ebrahim Janeh Fard returned to Iran from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. After being arrested and transferred to a detention centre of a security agency, he underwent interrogation and was charged. He was later released on bail.
In May 2023, Ebrahim Janeh Fard was tried by a judge at Branch 110 of the Criminal Court 2 in Bukan and was sentenced to two years in prison on charges of "collaboration with one of the Kurdish parties opposing the regime." On 25 April 2023, the judge at Branch 110 of the Criminal Court 2 in Bukan issued a verdict sentencing him to imprisonment.
به گزارش منابع خبری، در تاریخ 21 تیر ماه 1404، ابراهیم جانه فرد، اهل شهرستان بوکان در استان آذربایجان غربی، توسط نیروهای امنیتی اداره اطلاعات بازداشت شد.
گفته شده است که با گذشت بیش از یک هفته از زمان بازداشت ابراهیم جانه فرد، اطلاعاتی درباره اتهامات حقوقی، روند قضایی و وضعیت وی در دست نیست.
در سال 1401، ابراهیم جانه فرد از اقلیم کردستان عراق به ایران بازگشت و پس از بازداشت و انتقال به بازداشتگاه یکی از ارگان های امنیتی و طی مراحل بازجویی و تفهیم اتهام، مدتی بعد با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شد.
در اردیبهشت ماه 1402، ابراهیم جانه فرد توسط قاضی شعبه 110 دادگاه کیفری 2 شهرستان بوکان محاکمه و به اتهام «همکاری با یکی از احزاب کرد مخالف نظام» به دو سال حبس محکوم شد. در تاریخ 5 اردیبهشت ماه 1402، قاضی شعبه 110 دادگاه کیفری 2 شهرستان بوکان با صدور دادنامه ای، وی را به حبس محکوم کرد.
