On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Mohammad Hassan Amidi, born in 1961 and residing in Shahr-e Rey, Tehran Province, has been held in Evin Prison for more than nine days since his temporary arrest, deprived of the basic rights of a defendant.
It was reported that despite the ongoing interrogations of Mohammad Hassan Amidi in Ward 209 of Evin Prison, this political detainee has been denied the right to access a lawyer, with the reason cited as the continuation of his interrogations.
Mohammad Hassan Amidi was arrested by security forces on June 18, 2024. After the confiscation of some of his personal belongings, he was transferred to Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison for interrogation and the formation of a legal case.

به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”علیرغم تداوم بازجویی ها از محمدحسن عمیدی در بند ۲۰۹ زندان اوین، این متهم سیاسی از حق دسترسی به وکیل محروم مانده و علت این مساله تداوم بازجویی ها از وی ذکر شده است.”
لازم به اشاره است، محمدحسن عمیدی، در تاریخ ۲۹ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، دستگیر و پس از توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی اش برای بازجویی و تسکیل پرونده قضایی به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات واقع در زندان اوین، منتقل شد.
