Ali Abazari, an 18-year-old accounting student, was fatally shot on 9 January 2023 in Vali Asr Town, Tehran. It was reported that the bullet entered through his left side and exited from the right. Some have suggested that the shooting was carried out by a sniper.
After the shooting, Ali's family took him to Shahid Yafte Abad Hospital. However, medical staff stated that no such individual had been admitted there. Following a gathering and inquiries by the family, it was announced that Ali had passed away, and they were not permitted to see the body. The family eventually located him, finding that he had been placed in a room without any examination. It was mentioned that there were many injured individuals, and adequate attention was not being provided.
The hospital intended to transfer the body to Kahrizak without identification. The family repeatedly attached identification tags to his hand, but they were removed. He was transported to Kahrizak by a Behesht Zahra ambulance. According to the family, numerous bodies were stacked in the ambulance.
The family searched in Kahrizak the following day and, upon finding him, discovered that the identification tag had again been removed. The forensic certificate recorded the date of death as 8 January 2023, with the cause of death listed as "sharp object impact."
علی اباذری ۱۸ ساله و دانشجوی حسابداری در تاریخ ۱۹ دی در شهرک ولیعصر در تهران با اصابت گلوله کشته شد. گزارش شده است که گلوله از پهلوی چپ وارد و از پهلوی راست خارج شده بود. برخی اظهار کرده اند که تیراندازی از سوی تک تیرانداز انجام شده است.
پس از اصابت گلوله، خانواده علی او را به بیمارستان شهدای یافت آباد منتقل کردند. اما کادر درمان اعلام کردند که چنین فردی به آنجا منتقل نشده است. پس از تجمع و پیگیری خانواده، اعلام شد که علی فوت کرده و اجازه دیدن پیکر را نمی دهند. خانواده با پیگیری توانستند او را پیدا کنند؛ بدون آن که معاینه ای انجام شده باشد، در اتاقی گذاشته شده بود. گفته می شود تعداد مصدومان زیاد بود و رسیدگی کافی صورت نمی گرفت.
بیمارستان قصد داشت پیکر را بدون هویت به کهریزک منتقل کند. خانواده چند بار برچسب شناسایی روی دستش چسباندند اما آن را کندند. او را با آمبولانس بهشت زهرا به کهریزک منتقل کردند. به گفته خانواده، در آمبولانس تعداد زیادی جنازه روی هم گذاشته شده بود.
خانواده روز بعد در کهریزک جست وجو کردند و وقتی او را پیدا کردند، برچسب شناسایی باز هم کنده شده بود. در گواهی پزشکی قانونی تاریخ فوت ۱۸ دی و علت مرگ "اصابت شی تیز" ثبت شده بود.
