Sajjad Arduni Kavir, a 23-year-old son of Hossein from Zabol and residing in Nehbandan, has been identified by Hal Vash.
According to Hal Vash sources, Sajjad was shot in the head with live ammunition by suppressive forces during public protests in Sabzevar on January 8, 2026, and died on the same day.
Sources added that after his death, the body of this citizen was not handed over to the family. It was finally delivered to the family by security agencies on January 23, 2026, after two weeks, accompanied by direct threats to relatives and conditions of "no reporting" and "no mention of being killed in protests."
The report states that Sajjad Arduni Kavir's body was transferred to Nehbandan after being handed over and was buried there under a security presence.

سجاد اردونی کویر ۲۳ ساله فرزند حسین اهل زابل و ساکن شهرستان نهبندان توسط حال وش احراز شده است.
به گفته منابع حال وش: «سجاد در روز پنج شنبه ۱۸ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ و در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در شهر سبزوار با شلیک تیر جنگی نیروهای سرکوبگر از ناحیه سر هدف قرار گرفته و در همان روز جان خود را از دست داده است.»
منابع افزوده اند که پس از کشته شدن این شهروند پیکر او به خانواده تحویل داده نشده و پس از دو هفته نهایتاً در تاریخ ۳ بهمن ماه پیکر وی از سوی نهادهای امنیتی تحویل خانواده شده است؛ تحویلی که با تهدید مستقیم بستگان و شرط «عدم اطلاع رسانی» و «عدم اشاره به کشته شدن در اعتراضات» همراه بوده است.
بر اساس این گزارش پیکر سجاد اردونی کویر پس از تحویل به شهرستان نهبندان منتقل و در همان جا تحت فضای امنیتی به خاک سپرده شده است.
