On June 14, 2024, the trial dates for Vahid Abbasi Beyani, a political defendant from the city of Izeh in Khuzestan Province, were determined in recent days. He, along with other co-defendants, will be tried on June 29, 30, and July 1, 2024, in Branch 4 of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court.
It should be noted that Vahid Abbasi Beyani was arrested by security forces in mid-November 2022 in the city of Izeh. After being transferred to the central detention center of the IRGC Intelligence Organization in Ahvaz, he underwent interrogation and was subjected to severe torture and intimidation. Eventually, he was transferred to Sheiban Prison in Ahvaz. On March 9, 2024, after completing interrogation and being charged, he was released on bail of 3 billion tomans.
Vahid Abbasi Beyani is charged with disturbing public order and peace, gathering and colluding with the intent to disrupt national security, promoting violence with the intent to incite others to war and murder, and engaging in propaganda activities against the regime. His indictment was referred to Branch 4 of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court. However, due to several instances of incomplete judicial investigations, their case was returned to the Ahvaz Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران در ۲۵ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، طی روزهای اخیر، زمان دادرسی به اتهامات وحید عباسی بیانی، متهم سیاسی، اهل و ساکن شهرستان ایذه از توابع استان خوزستان، مشخص شد. وی با دیگر متحمان هم پرونده در تاریخ های ۹، ۱۰ و ۱۱ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۳، در شعبه ۴دادگاه انقلاب اهواز محاکمه خواهد شد.
لازم به اشاره است، وحید عباسی بیانی اواسط آبان ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهرستان ایذه، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه مرکزی اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران در شهر اهواز و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم در حالی که تحت شدیدترین شکنجه ها و ارعاب قرار گرفتند و در نهایت به زندان شیبان اهواز منتقل و در تاریخ ۱۹ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۲، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، با تودیع قرار وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۳ میلیارد تومان، آزاد شد.
اتهامات وحید عبدسی بیانی از بابت اخلال در نظم و آسایش عمومی ، اجتماع و تبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور ، ترویج خشونت به قصد دعوت از سایرین به جنگ و کشتار و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام تفهیم اتهام و کیفرخواست وی به شعبه ۴ دادگاه انقلاب اهواز، ارجاع شد اما طی چند مرحله با اعلام نقص در تحقیقات قضایی پرونده آنها به شعبه دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب اهواز بازگردانده شده بود.
