In another news, on Sunday, September 10, 2023, Omid Asadi, a civil and cultural activist residing in Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan Province, was arrested by security forces in the city and taken to an undisclosed location.
The arrest of Omid Asadi followed a raid by security forces on this citizen's place of business.
Despite a significant amount of time passing since the arrest of Omid Asadi, there is no information about the legal basis of the charges, his place of detention, the legal proceedings, or the identity of the security agency that arrested him.
It is worth mentioning that Omid Asadi was previously arrested on March 23, 2022, after being summoned by phone to the Intelligence Department of the IRGC in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province. After completing the interrogation process and the case file, he was temporarily released on bail of 600 million tomans on April 9, 2022.
As the legal proceedings began, Omid Asadi was acquitted on May 28, 2022, by the first branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on the charge of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish parties opposing the regime," and a dismissal order was issued. However, following the prosecutor's representative's objection to the ruling and referral of the case to the appeals branch of the Kurdistan Province Court, on August 30, 2022, Omid Asadi was summoned with a written notice to present his defense to the 4th branch of the Kurdistan Province Appeals Court and was sentenced to a monetary fine after the trial.
This civil activist was also arrested on August 21, 2018, in Kamyaran County, Kurdistan Province, by IRGC intelligence officers. After undergoing interrogation and being charged on September 5, 2018, he was released on bail of 100 million tomans. In June 2019, he was tried by the 1st branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on separate charges of "membership in Kurdish parties opposing the regime" and "propaganda in favor of groups opposing the regime" and was sentenced to a one-year suspended prison term.
As legal proceedings began, Omid Asadi was tried on July 20, 2019, by the 1st branch of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on the charge of "propaganda in favor of groups and organizations opposing the regime on social media" and was sentenced to a one-year prison term. Due to his request for a reduction of the sentence, part of the one-year prison term was reduced.

در خبری دیگر، روز یک شنبه ١٩ شهریورماه ١۴٠٢، امید اسدی، فعال مدنی ـ فرهنگی، ساکن سنندج مرکز استان کردستان، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در آن شهر، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
بازداشت امید اسدی، در پی یورش نیروهای امنیتی به محل کسب این شهروند صورت گرفته است.
علیرغم گذشت گذشت مدتی قابل توجه از تاریخ دستگیری امید اسدی، از مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات، مکان نگهداری و از روند حقوقی پرونده و نام نهاد امنیتی بازداشت کننده امید اسدی اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به اشاره است، امید اسدی، در تاریخ ۳ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۱، پس از احضار تلفنی به اداره اطلاعات سپاه سنندج مرکز استان کردستان، بازداشت و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تکمیل پرونده، در تاریخ ۲۰ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۱، با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۶۰۰ میلیون تومان بطور موقت آزاد شده بود.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، امید اسدی، در تاریخ ۷ خردادماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب سنندج از بابت اتهام (همکاری با یکی از احزاب کُرد مخالف نظام) تبرئه و قرار منع تعقیب وی صادر شد اما در پی اعتراض نماینده دادستان به حکم صادره و ارجاع پرونده به شعبه دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کردستان، در تاریخ ۸ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۱، امید اسدی با دریافت ابلاغیه ای کتبی برای ارائه دفاع از خود به شعبه ۴ دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کردستان احضار و پس از محاکمه به پرداخت جریمه نقدی محکوم شده بود.
این فعال مدنی، در تاریخ ۳۰ مرداد ماه ۱۳۹۷ هم در شهرستان کامیاران از توابع استان کردستان، توسط ماموران اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران بازداشت و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی و تفهیم اتهام در تاریخ ۱۴ شهریور۱۳۹۷، با تودیع قرار وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱۰۰ میلیون تومان آزاد و در خردادماه ۱۳۹۸، به اتهام توسط شعبه ۱ دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان سنندج از بابت پرونده ای دیگر با اتهام (عضویت در احزاب کرد مخالف نظام) و (تبلیغ به نفع گروههای مخالف نظام) محاکمه و به تحمل ۱ سال حبس تعلیقی محکوم شده بود.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، امید اسدی در تاریخ ۲۹ تیرماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط شعبه ۱ دادگاه انقلاب سنندج به اتهام (تبلیغ به نفع گروهها و سازمانهای مخالف نظام در فضای مجازی) محاکمه و تحمل به تحمل ۱ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد و و با توجه به درخواست تسلیم رای توسط وی بخش از مجموع حبس ۱ ساله وی کاسته شده بود.
