Bahareh Haj Esfandiyari, a civil engineer and graduate of the University of Tehran, began her professional career managing large projects in Iran. After migrating to Canada, she continued her work in her field as a manager at the Marwest company in Winnipeg.
Bahareh played the daf, wrote poetry, practiced calligraphy, and taught the Persian language.
She, along with her husband, Mir Mohammad Mahdi Sadeghi, a survey engineer, and their young daughter, Anisa, had travelled to Iran for a short visit. They were passengers on flight PS752, which was shot down by missiles from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps over Tehran on 8 January 2020. All passengers, including Bahareh and her family, lost their lives.
بهاره حاج اسفندیاری (۱۳۵۷-۱۳۹۸)، مهندس عمران، فارغ التحصیل دانشگاه تهران بود. مسیر حرفه ای خود را از مدیریت پروژه های بزرگ در ایران آغاز کرد و پس از مهاجرت به کانادا، به عنوان مدیر در شرکت «ماروستِ» وینیپگ، به کار در رشته خود ادامه داد.
بهاره دف می نواخت، شعر می گفت و خطاطی می کرد و تدریس زبان فارسی میکرد.
و به همراه همسرش، میرمحمدمهدی صادقی (مهندس نقشه برداری) و دختر خردسالشان، آنیسا، برای دیداری کوتاه به ایران سفر کرده بودند، هنگام برگشت به کانادا مسافر پرواز PS752 بودند، که روز ۱۸ دی ۱۳۹۸ با شلیک موشک های سپاه پاسداران در آسمان تهران سرنگون شد، و آنها همراه دیگر مسافران جان باختند.
