On the evening of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Abed Alizadeh, a young Kurdish man from Takab and a media activist who had been active on social media in support of the people, those killed during the January protests, and Kurdish culture and language, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.
On Monday, August 31, 2026, after 13 days of arbitrary detention at one of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ security detention centers in Urmia, where he reportedly endured physical torture and mistreatment, Abed Alizadeh was transferred to Ward 3 of Miandoab Prison. A bail of 4 billion tomans was reportedly requested for his temporary release.
This Kurdish citizen had been active on social media in support of the people’s legitimate protests against rising prices, in opposition to portraying protesters as enemies, in support of the Kurdish language and culture and Kurdish studies, and more broadly on social issues affecting the community.

روز دوشنبه ۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۵، «عابد علیزاده» پس از ۱۳ روز بازداشت خودسرانه در یکی از بازداشتگاه های امنیتی سپاه پاسداران در ارومیه و تحمل شکنجه های جسمی و آزار و اذیت، به بند ۳ زندان میاندوآب منتقل شده و برای آزادی موقت او درخواست وثیقه ۴ میلیارد تومانی کرده اند.
این شهروند کورد در فضای مجازی در حمایت از اعتراضات به حق مردمی علیه گرانی، اعتراض به دشمن پنداشتن معترضان، حمایت از زبان و فرهنگ کردی و کردشناسی و به طور کلی در ارتباط با مسائل اجتماعی جامعه فعالیت می کرد.
