Based on received information, Amirhossein Qaragozli, a client of the Welfare Organization in Andisheh Town, was shot and killed by security forces around 10 PM on January 9, after being transferred to a medical center due to a seizure. He was on his way back home with his mother and younger brother in Phase 1 of Andisheh Town, Karaj.
He had a severe intellectual disability and had been discharged from the medical center after receiving medical services. A source close to the family mentioned that Amirhossein's father was a member of the Army Ground Forces and had served for years on the Iran-Iraq war fronts. بر اساس اطلاعات دریافتی امیرحسین قراگزلی از مددجویان سازمان بهزیستی در شهرک اندیشه حوالی ساعت ۱۰ شب ۱۹ دی ماه پس از انتقال به مرکز درمانی به دلیل تشنج در مسیر بازگشت به منزل در حالی که به همراه مادر و برادر کوچکترش بوده در فاز یک شهرک اندیشه کرج هدف شلیک نیروهای امنیتی قرار گرفته و جان خود را از دست داده است.
وی دارای معلولیت شدید ذهنی بوده که پس از دریافت خدمات پزشکی از مرکز درمانی مرخص شده بود. به گفته این منبع نزدیک به خانواده پدر امیرحسین عضو نیروی زمینی ارتش بوده و سال ها در جبهه های جنگ ایران و عراق خدمت کرده است. با این حال فرزند او در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای نظامی و انتظامی حکومت کشته شده است.
