Forty-three years have passed since the uprising at Shahrokhi Air Base, known as the Nojeh Coup, which was planned to change the government in Iran. The plan involved collaboration with the Bakhtiari, Boyer-Ahmadi, Baluch, and Qashqai tribes to initiate a rebellion and divert the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps away from Tehran. On the night of 9 July 1980, nearly 300 paratroopers approached Shahrokhi Air Base in Hamedan. Simultaneously, a group of air force pilots gathered in Tehran with the intention of using fighter jets to bomb targets in the city.

The Patriotic Iranian Military Organization was among the main planners of this coup. However, the coup was exposed on the night of 9 July 1980. It has been reported that information regarding the coup was leaked.

سرهنگ حسین مصطفی قزوینی افسر ارشد ارتش شاهنشاهی ایران بود که در کودتای نوجه (عملیات نقب) در سال ۱۹۸۰ دستگیر و پس از محاکمه اعدام شد.

چهل و سه سال از رخداد قیام پایگاه شاهرخی می گذرد. این قیام که به نام نقاب شناخته می شود، به منظور تغییر حکومت در ایران برنامه ریزی شده بود. در این برنامه، قرار بود با همکاری ایل های بختیاری، بویراحمدی، بلوچ و قشقایی، شورشی برپا شود و نیروهای سپاه پاسداران از تهران دور شوند. در شب ۱۸ تیر ماه ۱۳۵۹، نزدیک به ۳۰۰ چترباز به پایگاه شاهرخی همدان نزدیک شدند. همزمان، گروهی از خلبانان نیروی هوایی در تهران گرد آمدند و قرار بود با استفاده از جنگنده ها، اهدافی در تهران را بمباران کنند.

سازمان نظامیان وطن پرست ایران از طراحان اصلی این کودتا بود. با این حال، کودتا در شب ۱۸ تیر ماه ۱۳۵۹ لو رفت. گفته شده است که اطلاعات مربوط به این کودتا فاش شده است.
