According to Kurdistan Human Rights Network, Mehdi Jamshidi, a worker from Kermanshah, was arrested by the security forces on Saturday, 4 March 2023, after attending a protest rally in front of the building of the General Directorate of Education. The day after, the security forces searched the family home of this Kurdish citizen and took away some of his personal belongings.
The gathering on Saturday in front of the building of the General Directorate of Education in Kermanshah was held at the same time as in other cities of Iran in protest against organized attacks with chemical gases on schools and poisoning of students. It is said that during and after the rally, a number of participants were arrested by the security and police forces.
