Saeed Madani, an Iranian sociologist and social researcher from Isfahan, residing in Tehran, has conducted research on social issues such as poverty, addiction, and inequality, publishing numerous works in this field. Due to his critical views and civil activities, Madani has faced restrictions and arrests multiple times and is currently imprisoned. His activities have primarily focused on the scientific analysis of social issues and efforts to raise public awareness.
His imprisonment ended on 20 April 2026, when he was released from Damavand Prison. Saeed Madani's eight-year sentence was reduced to four years following an appeal. He was transferred from Evin Prison to Damavand Prison on 2 April 2024.

مدنی به خاطر دیدگاه های انتقادی و فعالیت های مدنی خود، بارها با محدودیت و بازداشت مواجه شده و در حال حاضر در وضعیت زندان قرار دارد. فعالیت های او بیشتر بر تحلیل علمی مسائل اجتماعی و تلاش برای آگاهی بخشی عمومی متمرکز بوده است.
دوران حبس او در 31 فروردین 1405 تمام شد و از زندان دماوند آزاد شد. هشت سال حبس سعید مدنی پس از پذیرش تجدیدنظر به چهار سال زندان کاهش یافت. او در تاریخ 14 فروردین 1403 از زندان اوین به زندان دماوند منتقل شد.
