It is worth mentioning that Kamal Nouri was tried on May 21, 2024, by Judge Abolqasem Salavati, the head of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, on charges of "assembly and collusion with the intent to disrupt national security," "propaganda against the regime," "insulting the leadership," and "espionage." Part of his defense was taken, and he was then summoned for a second stage to the mentioned branch. The final hearing on the case of this national civil activist was held on July 4, 2024, by Judge Abolqasem Salavati, the head of Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, and he was sentenced to 3 years of discretionary imprisonment with a suspension of 2 years for the charge of "assembly and collusion."
On February 5, 2024, Kamal Nouri was arrested by security forces in the city of Rasht, the capital of Gilan Province, and after being transferred to Tehran and Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison, he went through interrogation and was charged in Branch 5 of the Investigation Office of District 33 of Tehran.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز سه شنبه ۶ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۳، کمال نوری، فعال ملی مدنی و زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان اوین، پس از طی ۱۰ ماه از مجموع حبس تعزیری خود آزاد شد.
براساس این گزارش، آزادی کمال نوری، در حالی که ۱۰ ماه از مجموع حبس تعزیری خود را سپری کرد صورت گرفته است.
لازم به ذکر است، کمال نوری، در تاریخ ۳۱ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط قاضی ابوالقاسم صلواتی ـ رئیس شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، با اتهامات «اجتماع و تبانی به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور»، «تبلیغ علیه نظام»، «توهین به رهبری» و «جاسوسی» محاکمه و بخشی از دفاعیات وی اخذ و سپس برای دومین مرحله به شعبه مذکور احضار شده بود و جلسه دادرسی نهایی به پرونده این فعال ملی مدنی در تاریخ ۱۳ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط قاضی ابوالقاسم صلواتی ـ رئیس شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، برگزار و از بابت اتهام «اجتماع و تبانی» به تحمل ۳ سال حبس تعزیری با تعلیق ۲ سال از مجموع آن محکوم شده بود.
در تاریخ ۱۶ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۲، کمال نوری، در شهر رشت مرکز استان گیلان، توسط ماموران امنیتی بازداشت و پس از انتقال به تهران و بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات واقع در زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام در شعبه ۵ بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، تفهیم اتهام شده بود.
