In recent days, Naser Bekrzadeh, a security prisoner held in Urmia Central Prison, was once again sentenced to death by Judge Shahini, the head of Branch 2 of the Urmia Revolutionary Court. The report is dated September 13, 2025.
According to the verdict issued by Judge Shahini, Naser Bekrzadeh has been sentenced to death on charges of "enmity against God through espionage for Mossad."
It is noteworthy that Naser Bekrzadeh was arrested on August 9, 2023, by officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Intelligence Organization. He was released after being transferred to a detention center and undergoing interrogation, but was re-arrested on January 2, 2024, and after further interrogation at the Al-Mahdi IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Urmia, he was transferred to the city's central prison.
During the judicial process, Naser Bekrzadeh was tried by Judge Reza Najafzadeh, head of Branch 3 of the Urmia Revolutionary Court, and was sentenced to death on charges of "espionage for Israel," "collaboration with the Mossad intelligence service," and "participation in the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh." Following an appeal and referral of his case to the Supreme Court, his death sentence was overturned, and in March 2025, his case was referred back to Branch 2 of the Urmia Revolutionary Court as an equivalent branch.
Previously, on November 7, 2024, the Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic, reported the issuance of death sentences against Edris Ali, Azad Shojaei from the village of Doleh Garm in Sardasht County, Rasoul Ahmad Mohammad from Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, and another unidentified individual, on charges of "espionage for Israel" by judges from two branches of the Urmia Revolutionary Court.
The report claimed that three of these defendants, under the guidance and support of the Mossad intelligence system, played a role in transferring equipment for the "assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh" into the country and to the location of the assassination, which was one of their acts of sabotage.

On April 26, 2026, the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of Naser Bakrzadeh, a political prisoner imprisoned in Urmia Prison, for the third time. He was executed on May 2, 2026.
Despite more than two weeks having passed since the execution of this Kurdish political prisoner from Urmia, his body has still not been returned to his family, and government authorities have prevented any public mourning مراسم in the city of Orumiyeh.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، طی روزهای اخیر، ناصر بکرزاده، زندانی امنیتی محبوس در زندان مرکزی ارومیه، توسط قاضی شاهینی ـ رئیس شعبه ۲ دادگاه انقلاب ارومیه، مجددن به اعدام محکوم شد. تاریخ خبر ۲۲شهریورماه ۱۴۰۴
براساس دادنامه صادره توسط قاضی شاهینی؛ ناصر بکرزاده، از بابت اتهام «محاربه از طریق جاسوسی برای موساد» به اعدام محکوم شده است.
لازم به ذکر است، ناصر بکرزاده، در تاریخ ۱۸ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران سازمان اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه و طی مراحل بازجویی ها آزاد شده بود اما مجددا در تاریخ ۱۲ دی ماه ۱۴۰۲، پس از دستگیری و طی مراحل بازجویی ها در بازداشتگاه اطلاعات سپاه المهدی ارومیه به زندان مرکزی آن شهر، منتقل شد.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، ناصر بکرزاده، توسط قاضی رضا نجف زاده ـ رئیس شعبه ۳ دادگاه انقلاب ارومیه، محاکمه و از بابت اتهامات «جاسوسی برای اسرائیل»، «همکاری با سرویس جاسوسی موساد» و «مشارکت در ترور محسن فخری زاده» به اعدام محکوم شده بود و در پی اعتراض و ارجاع پرونده این زندانی امنیتی به شعبه دیوان عالی کشور، حکم اعدام وی نقض و در فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۴، پرونده وی به شعبه ۲ دادگاه انقلاب ارومیه به عنوان شعبه هم عرض، ارجاع شده بود.
پیشتر هم در تاریخ ۱۶ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۳، خبرگزاری میزان ـ وابسته قوه قضائیه جمهوری اسلامی، از صدور احکام اعدام بر علیه ادریس آلی، آزاد شجاعی ـ اهل روستای دوله گرم از توابع شهرستان سردشت، رسول احمد محمد ـ اهل شهرسلیمانیه عراق به همراه یک فرد دیگر«هویت نامشخص»، به اتهام«جاسوسی برای اسرائیل» توسط قضات ۲ شعبه از دادگاه انقلاب ارومیه خبر داده بود.
در آن گزارش، ادعا شده بود:”سه نفر از این متهمان تحت هدایت و حمایت سیستم جاسوسی موساد در انتقال تجهیزات «ترور محسن فخری زاده» به داخل کشور و انتقال به محل ترور نقش داشته و یکی از اقدامات خرابکارانه آنها بوده است.”
دیوان عالی کشور در ۶ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵ حکم اعدام ناصربکرزاده، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان ارومیه، را برای سومین بار تایید کرد. در تاریخ دوازدهم اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵ حکم اعدام وی اجرا شد.
علیرغم گذشت بیش از دو هفته از اعدام این زندانی سیاسی کورد اهل ارومیه تاکنون پیکر او به خانواده هایشان تحویل داده نشده است و نهادهای حکومتی از برگزاری هرگونه مراسم سوگواری عمومی در شهر ارومیه جلوگیری کرده اند.
