On 12 October 2023, a judge from Branch 106 of the Criminal Court 2 in Sanandaj sentenced Edris Manbari to imprisonment in exile and flogging. Reports indicate that Edris Manbari, a cultural activist and member of the Nozhin Cultural-Social Association, was sentenced to one year of imprisonment, exile, and 40 lashes. He was charged with disturbing public order and peace, and it was decided that he would be exiled to Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah. The court session related to this case was held on 9 October 2023.
Edris Manbari was arrested by security forces in Saqqez on 18 December 2022. Following a search of his home and the confiscation of some personal belongings, he was transferred to the central detention centre of the Kurdistan Province Intelligence Department in Sanandaj for interrogation. He was released on bail on 29 January 2023.
در تاریخ 20 مهر 1402، قاضی شعبه 106 دادگاه کیفری 2 سنندج، ادریس منبری را به حبس در تبعید و شلاق محکوم کرد. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که ادریس منبری، فعال فرهنگی و عضو انجمن فرهنگی ـ اجتماعی نوژین، به تحمل 1 سال حبس تعزیری، تبعید و 40 ضربه شلاق محکوم شده است. اتهام وی اخلال در نظم و آسایش عمومی عنوان شده و مقرر شده که وی به زندان دیزل آباد کرمانشاه تبعید شود. جلسه دادرسی مربوط به این پرونده در تاریخ 17 مهر 1402 برگزار شده بود.
ادریس منبری در تاریخ 27 آذر 1401 توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهرستان سقز بازداشت و پس از تفتیش منزل و توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی، برای بازجویی به بازداشتگاه مرکزی اداره کل اطلاعات استان کردستان در سنندج منتقل شد. وی در تاریخ 9 بهمن 1401 با تودیع وثیقه آزاد گردید.
