A child from Zarrinshahr, Isfahan, was killed during the popular protests in the city on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026 (18 Dey 1404), after being shot by government security forces.
According to received reports the forces fired more than 200 metal pellet bullets at him striking his face eyes hands neck and chest. The injuries were so severe that Ali Mehris jaw and nose were fractured.
