عارفه بیگی ۲۰ ساله اهل زرین شهر اصفهان روز ۱۸ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی هدف شلیک نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و جان خود را از دست داد.
بر اساس اطلاعات رسیده ابتدا گلوله ای به پهلوی او شلیک شد و در حالی که هنوز زنده بود با شلیک گلوله ای دیگر به سرش کشته شد.
عارفه بیگی تنها یک روز پیش از کشته شدنش در شبکه اجتماعی ایکس نوشته بود:
«حس خیلی عجیبی دارم و مطمئنم این حسو ۱۴۰۱ تجربه نکردم.»
طبق گزارش های منتشر شده خانواده عارفه اعلام کرده اند برای تحویل پیکر او مجبور به پرداخت مبلغ ۷۵۰ میلیون تومان تحت عنوان «حق تیر» شده اند. پیکر این دختر جوان هشت روز پس از کشته شدن ساعت شش صبح تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به خاک سپرده شد.

She was shot dead by the Islamic Republic’s security forces on Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), during the Iranian year 1404 (2025/26) nationwide uprising.
Arefeh Beigi, a 20-year-old from Zarrin Shahr, Isfahan, was shot by Islamic Republic security forces during public protests on January 8, 2026, and lost her life. According to received information, she was first shot in the side, and while still alive, was killed by another bullet to the head.
Just one day before her death, Arefeh Beigi had written on the social media platform X: "I have a very strange feeling, and I'm sure I didn't experience this feeling in 2022."
Reports indicate that Arefeh's family stated they were forced to pay 750 million tomans as a "bullet fee" to receive her body. The young woman's body was buried under strict security measures at six in the morning, eight days after her death.
