On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Zahra Safaei, a political activist, along with her children, Mohammad Masoud Moeini and Parastoo Moeini, former political prisoners residing in Tehran, were arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents and transferred to Evin Prison for case formation. These citizens have previously experienced arrest, trial, and criminal conviction.
According to an informed individual speaking to the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "Ministry of Intelligence agents raided Ms. Safaei's residence, searched the home of this political activist, and after confiscating some personal items such as mobile phones, they arrested Zahra Safaei along with her two children, Parastoo Moeini and Masoud Moeini, and transferred them to Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence for the formation of a new judicial case."
As of the time of this report, due to the investigator's prevention of the lawyer's entry into the family's judicial case, there is no information on the legal instances of the accusations attributed to these individuals.
It is worth mentioning that Mohammad Masoud Moeini was previously arrested on February 24, 2020, by Ministry of Intelligence agents in Tehran and transferred to Ward 209 of that security organization located in Evin Prison. In late April 2020, after completing the interrogation stages, he was transferred to Qarchak Varamin Prison.
Mohammad Masoud Moeini, on February 24, 2020, along with his mother and sister, was arrested from their home and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin. On March 16, 2020, after completing interrogations in Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence and being charged, he was released from Evin Prison on bail.
Masoud Moeini was also arrested for the second time on June 16, 2021, along with Moloud Safaei, his cousin, in Tehran by Ministry of Intelligence agents. After being transferred to Evin Prison, undergoing interrogations, and being charged, he was released on bail. With the commencement of the trial process by a branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, he was tried on charges of propaganda activities against the regime and sentenced to 2 years of discretionary imprisonment. On April 12, 2022, after receiving a written summons, he reported to that judicial unit and was transferred to Evin Prison. After serving his prison sentence, he was released from Evin Prison.
Mohammad Masoud Moeini was sentenced to 2 years of discretionary imprisonment on March 24, 2024, for the charge of assembly and collusion.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز سه شنبه ۲۱ شهریور ما ۱۴۰۲، زهرا صفایی، فعال سیاسی به همراه فرزندان خود به نامهای محمدمسعود معینی و پرستو معینی، زندانیان سیاسی پیشین، ساکن تهران، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات، بازداشت و برای تشکیل پرونده به زندان اوین، منتقل شدند. این شهروندان، پیشتر هم سابقه بازداشت، محاکمه و محکومیت کیفری را دارند.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”ماموران وزارت اطلاعات یا یورش به منزل خانم صفیی، منزل این فعال سیاسی را تفتیش و پس از توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی از قبیل گوش های تلفن همراه، سپس زهرا صفایی را به همراه دو فرزندش به نامهای پرستور معینی و مسعود معینی، بازداشت و براس تشکیل پرونده قضایی جدید به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات، منتقل کردند.”
تا لحظه تنظیم این گزارش، با توجه به ممانعت بازپرس از ورود وکیل به پرونده قضایی این خانواده، از مصادیق حقوقی اتهامات منتسب شده به این افراد اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به اشاره است، محمدمسعود معینی پیشتر هم در تاریخ ۵ اسفندماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات در تهران بازداشت و به بند ۲۰۹ آن ارگان امنیتی واقع در زندان اوین منتقل شد و اواخر فروردین ماه ۱۳۹۹، پس از اتمام مراحل بازجویی ها به زندان قرچک ورامین منتقل شد
محمدمسعود معینی، در تاریخ ۵ اسفند ماه ۱۳۹۸، همراه با مادر و خواهرش از منزل خودشان دستگیر و به بند ۲۰۹ اوین منتقل شد. در تاریخ ۲۶ اسفند ماه ۱۳۹۸، پس از اتمام بازجویی ها در بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات و تفهیم اتهام با تودیع قرار وثیقه از زندان اوین آزاد شده بود.
مسعود معینی، برای دومین مرحله نیز، در تاریخ ۲۶ خردادماه ۱۴۰۰، همراه مولود صفایی ـ پسر خاله اش، در تهران، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، با وثیقه آزاد شد و با آغاز مراحل دادرسی توسط شعبه دادگاه انقلاب تهران، از بابت اتهام فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام محاکمه و به تحمل ۲ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شد و در تاریخ ۲۳ فروردین ۱۴۰۱، پس از دریاف ابلاغیه ای کتبی به آن واحد قضایی مراجعه و و به زندان اوین منتقل شد و پس از سپری کردن دوران محکومیت حبس خود از زندان اوین، آزاد شده بود.
محمدمسعود معینی از بابت اتهام اجتماع و تبانی به تحمل ۲ سال حبس تعزیری در ۴ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۲، محکوم شد
