A student from Qazvin International University was expelled from the university after being released from prison. Parastoo was arrested at her home in 2019 with violence and sentenced to five years in prison, of which she ultimately served three years. دانشجوی دانشگاه بین المللی قزوین، پس از آزادی از زندان از دانشگاه اخراج شد. پرستو در سال ۹۸ با ضرب و شتم در خانه اش بازداشت و به ۵ سال زندان محکوم شد که در نهایت ۳ سال این حکم اجرا شد. او پس از آزادی متوجه اخراج و منع ورودش به دانشگاه شده است.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز سه شنبه ۲۱ شهریور ما ۱۴۰۲، زهرا صفایی، فعال سیاسی به همراه فرزندان خود به نامهای محمدمسعود معینی و پرستو معینی، زندانیان سیاسی پیشین، ساکن تهران، توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات، بازداشت و برای تشکیل پرونده به زندان اوین، منتقل شدند. این شهروندان، پیشتر هم سابقه بازداشت، محاکمه و محکومیت کیفری را دارند.
