ندا عظیمی فر ۲۱ دی ۱۴۰۴ از تراس خانه اش در اسلامشهر در حال شعاردادن بوده که با نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی درگیری لفظی پیدا می کند. دو روز بعد یعنی ۲۳ دی ماه به منزل او یورش می برند در حضور دختر ده ساله اش با «ضرب و شتم» او را دستگیر می کنند.
خانواده پیگیر می شوند ولی هیچ خبری از این او پیدا نمی کنند…
در نهایت به این نتیجه می رسند شاید به خاطر ضرب و شتم در زمان بازداشت به بیمارستان برده باشند. به چند بیمارستان مراجعه می کنند در یکی از بیمارستان ها یکی از پرستاران در سیسم سرچ می کند و می گوید بروید کهریزک. پس از چندین بار رفت و آمد پیکر بی جانش را پیدا می کنند. ولی به آنها اجازه نمی دهند کامل کاور را باز کنند… اما متوجه می شوند «سینه اش کاملا شکافته و بخیه شده» علت مرگ هنوز مشخص نیست پس از تحویل پیکر خانواده که تحت فشار نیروهای امنیتی هستند بناچار بی سر و صدا ندا را در بهشت سکینه قطعه ۲۹ ردیف ۱ شماره ۱۱۳ به خاک سپردند.
البته برای تحویل جسد ۷۰۰ میلیون خواستند که با کمک آشنایان و فامیل مبلغ جور شد.

Neda Azimi was on the terrace of her home in Islamshahr on January 11, 2026, chanting slogans when she got into a verbal altercation with the suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic. Two days later, on January 13, a raid was conducted at her home, and she was arrested with "beatings" in front of her ten-year-old daughter.
Her family pursued information, but they couldn't find any trace of her. They eventually concluded that she might have been taken to a hospital due to the beatings during her arrest. After visiting several hospitals, a nurse checked the system at one and advised them to go to Kahrizak. After several visits, they found her lifeless body. They were not allowed to fully uncover the body, but they noticed that "her chest was completely split open and stitched." The cause of death remains unknown. Under pressure from security forces, the family quietly buried Neda in Behesht-e Sakineh, section 29, row 1, number 113.
To retrieve the body, a sum of 700 million was demanded, which was gathered with the help of friends and relatives.
