حسین دیبا ۲۲ ساله ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در خیابان گلستان اسلام شهر استان تهران با شلیک گلوله جنگی به ناحیه گردن از سوی نیروهای نظامیامنیتی جمهوری اسلامی مجروح شد و پس از انتقال به یک مرکز درمانی در سبزدشت به دلیل شدت جراحات باخت. پیکر وی روز بعد در سردخانه کهریزک به خانواده اش تحویل داده شد و مراسم خاکسپاری در «نصیرآباد» برگزار گردید. حسین دیبا از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ خیزش ژن ژیان ئازادی / زن زندگی آزادی بود.

Hossein Diba, 22 years old, was injured on January 9, 2026, during public protests on Golestan Street in Eslamshahr, Tehran Province, when he was shot in the neck by military-security forces of the Islamic Republic. He succumbed to his severe injuries after being transferred to a medical center in Sabzdasht. His body was handed over to his family the next day at the Kahrizak morgue, and the burial ceremony was held in "Nasirabad." Hossein Diba was among those arrested during the 2022 protests of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement.
