Amir Mahdi Moradi, a student, was among those who lost their lives during public protests in the Qaemieh neighbourhood of Eslamshahr, a suburb of Tehran, on 9 January 2026. He died from a direct gunshot wound to the spinal area.
Reports indicate that the body of this teenager, who was the only son in his family and had one sister, was returned to the family after three days. This was done after a payment and the signing of a mandatory commitment by the family. He was buried at the Imamzadeh Ebrahim Dehshad cemetery in Bagestan, Shahriar.
It has also been reported that Amir Mahdi Moradi was of the Lak Kurdish community and from the Eitavand clan.
امیرمهدی مرادی، نوجوان دانش آموز، از جان باختگان اعتراضات مردمی ۱۹دی ۱۴۰۴در محله قائمیه اسلام شهر از توابع تهران است. او با شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی به ناحیه نخاع جان خود را از دست داد.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که پیکر این نوجوان، که تنها پسر خانواده و دارای یک خواهر بوده است، پس از سه روز و با اخذ پول و گرفتن تعهد اجباری از خانواده به آن ها تحویل داده شد و در آرامستان امام زاده ابراهیم دهشاد در باغستان شهریار به خاک سپرده شد.
همچنین گزارش شده است که امیرمهدی مرادی از فرزندان کردهای لک و از طایفه ایتیوند بوده است.
