Setayesh Darougheh, a sixteen-year-old, Setayesh Amiri, a seventeen-year-old, both students, and Erfanah Honar, a nineteen-year-old, were previously arrested by security forces in Shiraz in connection with the serial poisoning of students.
According to this report, from November 22, 2022, to March 7, 2023, at least 290 attacks on schools were reported, affecting at least 7,068 students. This number of students pertains only to 103 schools that have provided statistics in this regard.
The attacks up to that date were recorded in at least 99 cities across 28 provinces of the country. The highest number of recorded attacks occurred on March 4, 2023, with 81 incidents.
These attacks resumed and expanded after an incident that coincided with Nowruz 2023, following the reopening of schools.

بر اساس این گزارش از ابتدای آذرماه ۱۴۰۱ تا ۱۶ اسفندماه ۱۴۰۱ دست کم ۲۹۰ مورد حمله به مدارس گزارش شده است که دست کم ۷۰۶۸ دانش آموز را متاثر از خود کرده است. این تعداد دانش آموزان تنها مربوط به ۱۰۳ مدرسه است که آماری در این رابطه اعلام کرده اند.
حملات تا آن تاریخ در دست کم ۹۹ شهر از ۲۸ استان کشور ثبت شده است. بیشترین تعداد حملات ثبت شده مربوط به تاریخ ۱۳ اسفندماه با ۸۱ مورد حمله بوده است.
این حملات بعد از یک واقعه که همزمان با عید نوروز 1402 بود، با بازگشایی مدارس مجددا آغاز و گستردگی یافته است.
