On Thursday, May 18, 2023, Burhan Saeedi, a well-known labor activist from the city of Sanandaj, was summoned and arrested by the Intelligence Department. According to the family of this labor activist, there is currently no information available regarding his well-being and the location of his detention.
It is worth mentioning that during a visit with the family of Hooman Abdollahi, one of the victims of the Zhina Revolution in Sanandaj, on the evening of Wednesday, May 17, 2023, eight labor activists from this city were arrested. Hajar Saeedi and Abdullah Kheirabadi, the sister and brother-in-law of Burhan Saeedi, are among those arrested.
Kamal Karimi, Shadman Abdi, Abdullah Kheirabadi, Sirwan Mahmoudi, Eghbal Pishkari, Hajar Saeedi, Khabat Mahmoudi, and Habibollah Karimi were arrested on the evening of Wednesday, May 17, 2023, without any judicial warrant or announcement of charges, and were transferred to an unknown location. So far, there is no information available regarding the reasons for their arrest or the charges leveled against them. It is reported that during the arrest, Sanandaj Intelligence Department officers subjected these individuals to severe beatings. Additionally, during a raid on Hooman Abdollahi's home, they insulted and disrespected the grieving family, and attacked and beat "Farshid Abdollahi," Hooman's father seeking justice.
Burhan Saeedi has previously been arrested and convicted due to his civil and labor activities.
روز پنجشنبە ۲٨ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، برهان سعیدی فعال کارگری شناخته شده شهر سنندج از سوی اداره اطلاعات احضار و بازداشت شده است. بە گفتە خانوادە این فعال کارگری تاکنون هیچ خبری از سلامت و محل بازداشت او در دسترس نمی باشد.
لازم به ذکر است که در جریان دیدار با خانواده هومن عبداللهی از جانباختگان انقلاب ژینا در سنندج، شامگاه چهارشنبه ۲۸ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، هشت تن از فعالین کارگری این شهر بازداشت شدند که هاجر سعیدی و عبدالله خیرآبادی، خواهر و داماد برهان سعیدی نیز جزو بازداشت شدگان هستند.
کمال کریمی، شادمان عبدی، عبدالله خیرآبادی، سیروان محمودی، اقبال پیشکاری، هاجر سعیدی، خبات محمودی، حبیب الله کریمی شامگاه چهارشنبه ۲۸ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، بدون برگه قضایی و اعلام اتهام انتسابی بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده اند. تاکنون از علت بازداشت این افراد و اتهاماتی که به آن ها نسبت داده شده اطلاعی در دست نیست. گفته می شود مامورین اداره اطلاعات سنندج، حين بازداشت این افراد آن ها را مورد ضرب و شتم شدید قرار داده اند. همچنین با یورش به منزل هومن عبداللهی با انواع توهین و بی احترامی و ناسزاگویی به این خانواده داغدار «فرشید عبداللهی» پدر دادخواه هومن را هم مورد حمله و ضرب و شتم قرار دادند.
برهان سعیدی پیش تر نیز به واسطه فعالیت های مدنی و کارگری سابقه بازداشت و محکومیت دارد.
