According to the Human Rights Report in Iran, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Ali Gholami, a student activist at the Iran University of Science and Technology and a former member of the Arman Students Association of this university, was arrested and transferred to Shirvan County Prison to serve his prison sentence.
According to this report, Ali Gholami is currently serving his 6-month prison sentence.
It is worth mentioning that Ali Gholami was previously sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment by the preliminary court judge of the Bojnord Revolutionary Court for "propaganda activities against the regime through widespread publication of content in cyberspace." The preliminary verdict was upheld by the judges of the North Khorasan Province Court of Appeals.
This student activist was arrested by security forces in Bojnord during the nationwide protests in 2022. After being transferred to a detention center of one of the security agencies in North Khorasan Province and undergoing interrogation and charge briefing, he was released on bail of 3 billion Rials a few days later.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز چهارشنبه ۵ دی ماه ۱۴۰۳، علی غلامی، فعال دانشجویی در دانشگاه علم و صنعت و از اعضای پیشین انجمن آرمان دانشجویان این دانشگاه، برای سپری کردن دوران حبس تعزیری خود، دستگیر و به زندان شهرستان شیروان، منتقل شد.
براساس این گزارش، علی غلامی، در حالی سپری کردن دوران حبس تعزیری ۶ ماهه خود است.
لازم به ذکر است، علی غلامی، پیشتر نیز در مرحله بدوی توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب بجنورد از بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام از طریق انتشار گسترده مطالب در فضای مجازی» به تحمل ۶ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود و حکم صادره بدوی توسط قضات شعبه دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خراسان شمالی عینا تائید شده بود.
این فعال دانشجویی، در تاریخ در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهر بجنورد، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه یکی از نهادهای امنیتی در استان خراسان شمالی و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام چندی بعد با قید وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۳۰۰ میلیون تومان آزاد شده بود.
