On 11 September 2026, Arzhin Jandi was arrested at his home by security forces without a judicial warrant and taken to an undisclosed location. He is from the village of Kupar, near Piranshahr.
The arrest of this teenager followed the killing of Eslam Kak-Darvishi, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in a shooting by unknown individuals on the evening of 11 September 2026. No information has been released regarding any evidence linking Arzhin to this incident.
It has been reported that during his detention, the young individual was pressured to admit involvement in the killing and to confess against himself.

بازداشت این نوجوان پس از کشته شدن اسلام کاک درویشی، از اعضای سپاه پاسداران، در تیراندازی افراد ناشناس در شامگاه ۲۰ شهریور ۱۴۰۵ صورت گرفته است. تاکنون اطلاعاتی درباره وجود ادله ای مبنی بر ارتباط آرژین با این واقعه منتشر نشده است.
یک منبع مطلع گزارش داده که ماموران در دوران بازداشت، این کودک را برای پذیرش نقش در قتل و اعتراف علیه خود تحت فشار قرار داده اند.
