“Hamzeh Darvishi” was reportedly summoned to the Piranshahr Intelligence Office on 18 August 2026, and was subsequently arrested without being presented with a judicial warrant and transferred to an undisclosed location. Since his arrest, there has been no information regarding his whereabouts or fate. He has been denied any contact or visits with his family, as well as access to a lawyer.
According to this source, Hamzeh Darvishi is the uncle of “Younes Darvishi,” a political activist based outside Iran. On 30 August 2026, pro-government Telegram channels, including the “Diyar-o-Nadiyar” channel, published an image of Younes Darvishi and, citing “security agencies,” stated that a “reward of several tens of thousands of dollars” would be paid to individuals who could “punish and eliminate” him.

به گفته این منبع، حمزه درویشی عموی «یونس درویشی»، فعال سیاسی خارج از ایران، است. در ۸ شهریور ۱۴۰۵، کانال های تلگرامی حکومتی، از جمله کانال «دیارونادیار»، تصویری از «یونس درویشی» منتشر کرده و به نقل از «نهادهای امنیتی» نوشته اند که به افرادی که بتوانند او را «تنبیه و معدوم» کنند، «پاداش چند ده هزار دلاری» پرداخت خواهد شد.
