Mohammadreza Behzadpour and Hossein Rashidi, two teacher union activists from Kerman Province, have been conditionally released with the approval of the Seventh Branch of the Kerman Province Court of Appeal. Previously, they had been summoned, arrested, and transferred to prison to serve their sentences. After spending one day in prison, they were granted leave due to special circumstances and remained outside prison until the conditional release decision was issued.
The two activists had applied for conditional release since the commencement of their sentences, which was eventually approved by the court. Earlier, the Kerman Province Court of Appeal had sentenced Mohammadreza Behzadpour and Hossein Rashidi each to six months in prison. The charges against them included forming and managing a group, membership in groups with the aim of disrupting national security, and propaganda against the regime.
In the initial trial, they were tried by the First Branch of the Kerman Revolutionary Court. According to the issued verdict, Hossein Rashidi Zarandi was sentenced to a total of 16 months in prison for charges of membership in an anti-regime group with the intent to disrupt national security and insulting the leadership and founder of the Islamic Republic. Mohammadreza Behzadpour was also sentenced to a total of 16 months in prison for charges of membership in an anti-regime group with the intent to disrupt national security and propaganda against the regime.
In July 2025, the indictment for these union activists was issued and sent to the First Branch of the Kerman Revolutionary Court for processing. In October 2022, Mohammadreza Behzadpour and Hossein Rashidi were summoned by the Kerman Security Police. In May of the same year, they were arrested by security forces in Kerman and released on bail after a few days.
محمدرضا بهزادپور و حسین رشیدی، دو فعال صنفی معلمان استان کرمان، با موافقت شعبه هفتم دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کرمان به صورت مشروط آزاد شدند. این دو نفر پیشتر برای اجرای حکم حبس احضار و بازداشت و به زندان منتقل شده بودند. آنها پس از تحمل یک روز حبس، به دلیل شرایط خاص به مرخصی اعزام شدند و تا زمان صدور رأی آزادی مشروط، خارج از زندان به سر می بردند.
این دو فعال صنفی از زمان آغاز اجرای حکم، درخواست آزادی مشروط خود را ارائه کرده بودند که در نهایت مورد موافقت دادگاه قرار گرفت. پیشتر دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان کرمان، محمدرضا بهزادپور و حسین رشیدی را هر یک به شش ماه حبس محکوم کرده بود. اتهامات مطرح شده علیه این افراد شامل تشکیل و اداره گروه، عضویت در گروه های با هدف برهم زدن امنیت کشور و تبلیغ علیه نظام عنوان شده است.
در مرحله بدوی، توسط شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب کرمان محاکمه شدند. بر اساس حکم صادره، حسین رشیدی زرندی بابت اتهامات عضویت در گروه معاند نظام به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور و توهین به رهبری و بنیانگذار جمهوری اسلامی مجموعا به ۱۶ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود. محمدرضا بهزادپور نیز بابت اتهامات عضویت در گروه معاند نظام به قصد برهم زدن امنیت کشور و تبلیغ علیه نظام مجموعا به ۱۶ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
در تیرماه ۱۴۰۴، کیفرخواست پرونده این فعالان صنفی صادر و جهت رسیدگی به شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب کرمان ارسال شده بود. در مهرماه ۱۴۰۱، محمدرضا بهزادپور و حسین رشیدی به پلیس امنیت کرمان احضار شده بودند. در اردیبهشت ماه همان سال نیز آنها توسط نیروهای امنیتی در کرمان بازداشت و پس از چند روز با تودیع وثیقه آزاد شده بودند.
