The death sentence of Mr Mohammad Amin Kharazmi, a ranger in Rabor County, Kerman, was overturned by the Supreme Court. His case was referred for retrial to Branch 1 of a criminal court in Kerman Province. He had previously been sentenced to death for shooting and killing an illegal hunter.
