A hearing regarding the charges against a citizen was conducted via video conference and lasted three minutes.
This individual was arrested by security forces in Urmia on 7 June 2024 without a judicial warrant. Following the arrest, security forces entered the individual's home and conducted a search.
The citizen was held for approximately two months in solitary confinement at the Urmia Intelligence Detention Centre, where they experienced severe physical and psychological pressure. During this period, the individual was coerced into signing forced confessions.
Previously, this person had been summoned and interrogated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Intelligence Organisation due to having a brother who is a member of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan.
According to reports, Younes Nabizadeh, a citizen from Urmia, has been sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in the city to ten years and one day in prison on charges of "membership in one of the opposition parties."

این فرد در 17 خرداد 1403 توسط نیروهای امنیتی در ارومیه بدون ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت شد. نیروهای امنیتی سپس به منزل شخصی او وارد شده و اقدام به تفتیش کردند.
این شهروند حدود دو ماه در سلول های انفرادی بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات ارومیه تحت فشار شدید جسمی و روحی قرار داشت. در این مدت، او تحت فشار مجبور به امضا و اعترافات اجباری شد.
این فرد به دلیل داشتن برادری که عضو حزب دمکرات کردستان است، پیشتر نیز توسط سازمان اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران احضار و بازجویی شده بود.
بر اساس گزارش ها، یونس نبی زاده، شهروند اهل ارومیه، از سوی شعبه اول دادگاه انقلاب این شهر به اتهام «عضویت در یکی از احزاب مخالف حکومت» به 10 سال و یک روز حبس محکوم شده است.
