According to the Baloch Activists Campaign, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Abdalaleem Esmaeel Zehi, son of Mowlavi Abdolhamid Esmaeel Zehi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province, was summoned to the Zahedan IRGC Intelligence Office and interrogated for several hours.
No information has been obtained regarding the focus of the interrogation conducted with Abdalaleem Esmaeel Zehi.
Additionally, Abdalaleem Esmaeel Zehi was instructed to report back to the security agency for further questioning by Saturday, August 5, 2023.
